Tamarack Earthwork LLC provides a full range of excavation services, specializing in technically complex sites and challenging projects. We focus on the intersection of the built and natural environments. 

 

Owner, Colin Dowd graduated from Clarkson University with a B.S. in Environmental Science & Policy, and a minor in Environmental Health & Safety. He spent six years working in the public sector, employed by two different public works engineering offices, managing large-scale natural resource and infrastructure projects.

 

In 2020, Colin transitioned to work in the private sector where he served as foreman & heavy equipment operator for another Adirondack excavation contractor.

 

Colin launched Tamarack to blend his talents in construction with his desire to implement state-of-the-art natural resource management projects that enhance water quality and soil health, while making a safer environment for the people who live in the Adirondacks.
